Boy, am I ever behind......

Sorry for the delay in getting this newsletter out. Time is just flying by. I can't believe we are already well into February. February brings about some great things. Of course, first and foremost we have Valentine's Day. Show that special someone how very special they are by making them a handmade card, straight from your heart. We also get to appreciate a day off in honor of our nation's presidents (sounds like a great weekend to get some scrappin done). Something else very special I discovered about February is the week of February 15th thru the 21st is deemed "Random Acts of Kindness Week". In honor of this week take some time to put a smile on someone's face. Perhaps you can simply make a point of smiling at everyone you meet, lend a hand to a stranger in need or anonymously place a note of gratitude on a co-workers desk. Random acts of kindess can create a positive chain reaction both for the giver and the receiver.

Close To My Heart's Constant Campaign could not have been more appropriate for a month that celebrates acts of kindess. This month's campaign is called "Hearts for Haiti". The Winter/Spring Open House was a lot of fun. There was a lot of new product to be viewed and a FREE make and take project. Brandy Simmons was the winner of our prize drawing. She won a Creative Basics set and a fun Valentine stamp set. I also had the pleasure of meeting some new CTMH fans. Welcome Sherry and Joan to our Close To My Heart family!
